Intent
Architects are part of a society and this has always been the case. Their works, ideas and philosophies affect the society as a whole. A designer's approach to architecture should be a reflection on his understanding of the context, the people and the culture of a place. Being confined to four walls of a studio will in no way help to create this understanding. One must travel, read and interact with public to acheive this. Creative factory is intended as an initiative to promote this interaction with the public and understand the local interests.
Outcome
The two day activity was successfully completed. However the selection of venue posed a problem in terms of the footfall per day. The interaction with public remained minimal on the second day.
